The “well educated” I know seem to be the most willing to accept the narrative and forgo any employment of critical thinking. It will take a massive top to bottom change to turn this around.

Nice read and so true. Education - or the lack thereof, is so absent. But its the lack of curiosity that. gets me. I really got one thing wrong. About 2005 era, I thought the the internet and social media would really help change us in a more positive way. The sharing of global information could only be a positive I thought. Now, those same tools are being restricted to a common narrative. We live in a very dangerous time.

data easily seen on world-o-meter for w/covid deths in wuhan and lombardi (n. italia) showed 98% deceased with extreme ill health, that was avaiable to everyone in late feb 2020!!!

the reaction to the virus is political, a new world order to impose.

the plague ends when we push back or we lose!

Excellent article Mark! Another interesting aspect to this ignorance and compliance is that the very same people think they know so much. I’ve stopped trying to convince them because they have no desire to put in the minimal effort to inform themselves. They have blank stares when I present them with information they haven’t heard and then insist that I’m the one misinformed. It’s insane. One friend, after I presented her with info on the data coming out of other countries regarding the vaccinated getting infected, asked me “why do you care what other countries are doing” 🤪

I am continually shocked at how people keep falling for this. My 33 year old son, who just got his Moderna booster & is arguably one of the brightest people I know, shouts me down and thinks I’m an idiot for doubting these “vaccines”. My friends think the same of me but I would rather chew glass then take one of these shots. And so, I wait for the awakening.

I believe this “pandemic” revealed the new status quo of America. 80% is intellectually lazy, spineless, and willing to die for lies.

Another great article, Mr. Oshinskie - all spot on. Here's my take on it, as a 30 year veteran of the clergy who has NOT become woke or bowed the knee to the liberal mainstream:

This whole "pandemic" is giving lots of folks a purpose for their otherwise aimless, meaningless existence (wasted, as you mentioned, on vapid entertainment and internet cruising). Because they don't have faith in anything higher than themselves, this becomes their reason for being: to survive the killer Covid, but also to be a "virtuous citizen" by following all the safety measures and medical procedures ("virtuous vaxxes") of the plandemic game...

Keep writing; you're a voice crying out in the wilderness!

Sad, but true. I read a lot of studies. I’ve kept John Ioannidis’s March 17, 2020 article in STAT since I actually read it March 17, 2020. Neil Ferguson has had hysterical overreactions to everything since I was a kid - and it was clear his crap models were driving the hysteria. I wanted to see what actual statisticians with a brain were predicting.

I even plotted the expected peak hospitalizations justifying the shutdowns for NC against the actual. When the “peak” was over 90% fewer than the expected I sent several text messages to friends, with links to the dashboard and the Raleigh news articles, showing we flattened our healthcare system while the virus was still circling the globe.

I’ve sent articles on past pandemic IFRs, showing the one held the year of Woodstock was similar. In May 2020 I sent the meta analysis from the NIH published by the CDC showing masks don’t really work. I attached articles showing indoor air purification would. I’ve now read the Brownstone paper pointing out that may come with negative unintended consequences. My main concern though was that humans mask other humans for physiological reasons - it’s dehumanizing and creates submissive people. At least with history as a guide. And we were already creating an enormous amount of absolute trash from masks and play is wrapped single serve everything. All while letting poor people starve from shutting down the world as my well off friends and I could live our life with complete comfort. It was never justified.

While I’ve changed a few minds with actual data and objective facts, mostly my friends have no interest in learning. Bubble tests ruined my generation. Everybody just wants to pick from a pre-determined answer someone else provides. They don’t care if all of the above are wrong, over simplified, baseless, and stupid. They just want a bubble. CRT is from the same place - turning complex unique humans into a single page demographic bubble test. It’s sad.

Great article! I stopped using Facebook, IG and Twitter last year and it was the best decision ever! Until these sites allow the freedom of speech and stop censorship then I feel this covid situation is never going to get better. Sub stack has been my mental saving Grace, reading comments from other educated, kind people!

Top notch as usual Mark 😊 and thank you.

I puzzled and puzzled for a very long time (good grief, yes, it really has been 2 years!) over all this idiocy. It seemed so. . .well, just weird and horrible and unprecidented.

I am extremely sad, yet also relieved, to report that I've come to a conclusion. All this can be confidently laid on the doorstep of the laziness and ignorance of 90% of the American public, facilitated by bureaucracy and 'wokeness' run amok. Yup. Welcome to the monkey house. And I really, really wish I was wrong. 😕

You did a great job reminding people how spiked the PCR tests were for so long. How could that be an accident? Especially since they adjusted the cycling down a lot much later. More dangerous to your health than a bus ride through Newark.

I don't know, could be the innate DNA of the individual. I was always curious. Had to look up words when I was reading, places, etc. Why? How? Now my husband is used to me asking for more info. Used to drive him crazy.

Now with the truth everywhere (your list of sources above) some just don't look for it and accept the "facts" from the fake news instead of being curious enough to verify. I don't think curiosity killed the cat, complacency did.

My, husband, a fireman/paramedic, went on a run tonight. A neurologist who knew he had Covid, called 911 because he was "fatigued." Pulse ox was 90% No conversational dyspnea. Three of the four paramedics have had Covid, including my 54 year old husband (July 2021). He asked if they were vaccinated. My husband tells him, 'No, because I don't believe that they work, and I already had it." The neurologist (fully vaccinated) shook his head in disgust at his ignorance. Ironic, huh? When he was the one calling 911 for their help. The well-educated for got everything they ever learned in medical school about basic immunology.

When you mentioned the doctors above you have listed a (Doctor) ‘Robert McCullough’…I believe the doctor you are referring to is Dr. Peter McCullough. He has been on the front lines in the ‘early treatment’ of SARS Cov2 with ‘therapeutics’, with great success.
