"In addition to tolerating post-Prohibition alcohol use, governments also tolerate other plainly damaging behaviors, such as smoking tobacco or increasingly potent marijuana, or eating junk food. "

The biggest killer is prescription drugs. Governments not only tolerate prescription drugs but subsidize, advertise, patent, devise, and force the use of prescription drugs on the population. Hence the common cold poison shot mandates. Not to mention all the useless poison shots jabbed into infants and children just to attend worthless schools.

Prescription drugs rule the world, more so than illegal drugs or alcohol.

Mark, having just stumbled upon your work just yesterday, I'm just amazed I haven't found you sooner. You need a much bigger platform as your work is brilliant. You give me hope that there are others in our wonderful state of New Jersey who are ready and willing to take back our once great home from the current rulers. I just moved as far south in the state as possible to Cape May and I can't believe the difference from Central Jersey. This also gives me hope. Keep up the fantastic work.

Brilliant idea to compare the madness of the zero-COVID policy to Prohibition, Mark.

The answer to your questions is this never had *anything* to do with health—indeed, the absolute opposite.

I came up with a hundred or so whys of my own in the essay I wrote in preparation for my Corona Investigative Committee presentation:

• “A Mostly Peaceful Depopulation” (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/a-mostly-peaceful-depopulation)

The answer to all of our whys is threefold:

1) Profit

2) Power

3) Democide

It has always been clear to those "whose eyes are open" that the Covid Panic was never anything about Public Health. The fact that no "public health" official EVER mentions the importance of Vitamin D to the immune system (or zinc or quercetin, etc.) is a dead give away!! It was ALWAYS about power and control (synonyms). The fact that similar schemes before and now (e.g. "Climate Change", "Central Banking") have also always been about power and control should surprise no one. Unfortunately, the power of the propaganda war this time round has been particularly evident. The transformation of the internet into an agency of frighteningly effective propaganda coupled with the ownership of the Tech companies by the same people releasing the "Pandemic" and the "Jabs" is a truly Orwellian development. The fact that such a high proportion of the population ACTUALLY believes that the Covid Panic is real and and that the crazy "solutions" were appropriate is terrifying. I have heard realistic numbers (corroborated by my own family members descent into this madness) of 30% of the population actually "Believing" that the lockdown, masking, testing and jabs were the answer and that "public health" "authorities" ACTUALLY want the public to be healthy (as opposed to controlled). I have also heard that 60% of the population "went along" with the Scam in order to "live an easier life" and that only 10% of the population actively opposed the wholesale slaughter of our civil liberties and our economic system. All of those numbers are terrifying. We are at war, many people don't even realize it, and we are losing.

The biggest scam of all was using our own money to purchase control of the economy right in plain sight. The "central banks" printed more money in the last 2 years as a proportion of the economy than anytime in their history, yet it has gone largely unreported. That is because the people who should be reporting it are themselves owned by the same people! The inflation that we are all suffering from is a direct result of that money printing. We are all paying for the printing with our savings and our lost earning power. It is the largest tax in history. The scariest part is that the money was used to purchase controlling interest in all the large companies in the world, e.g. Exxon, Apple, Google, Proctor and Gamble, Dupont, etc. etc. The owners of those companies are now the same owners as the banks and the "central banks". I.e. the economy is NO LONGER a competitive capitalistic economy, it is a corrupt (fascistic) monopoly by the owners of Vanguard (and Blackrock and State Street - all owned by the same owners of Vanguard, i.e. the 13 families in control of the world, Rockerfellers, Rothschilds, Dumours, Gates, etc.).

They own the world, but they do not own our souls and spirits IF we don't let them. Thank God that God has given us real Hope to oppose this truly evil take-over of the world. I would despair otherwise. He gives me hope to live a real life and to help others. Of course, buying some gold, eating real food (not sugar or trans fats!), intermittent fasting (14-16 hours per day), extra clean water, growing my own food in my own garden and net working with like-minded people and fighting the petty dictates of the petty tyrants and even praying for my enemies (and there are many) provides me with something concrete to do in the meantime, while we await God's solution to the crisis. He IS going to save us in his time, but in the meantime, I will do whatever I can to oppose the takeover in my own little sphere of influence. I believe that that is part of His plan, i.e. that we rely on him but take active (and loving) measures to be fight back on our own way.

May you all find Hope in these truly perilous times!

My book review of The Real Anthony Fauci was just published by UncoverDc.com. In the review, I argue that RFK, Jr's book could one day be considered "the most important book of our times."

I hope people continue to buy, read and think about Mr. Kennedy's brave and thoroughly-researched book.

No one ever admits when they are wrong - especially about government driven scams - like Viet Nam, or the Iraq war. It takes a generation. It will be 10-20 years from now - before the obvious is admitted.

Once again - we cannot let the government practice medicine. That's why everything has been a disaster.

Reading your article this morning with my first cup of coffee, I blissfully start the day knowing there are lucid people out there, like you. Your article was fantastic, like always. I pass your commentary to my covidiot friends/family, but some of them are “so over it”. They’ve forgotten about their rights removed for over two long years. I remember, and still feel the sting from it all., I’m getting ready for the fake fall surge 😂🤣, when I get to say I Told Ya So…….

"We live in a crisis culture. Everything, we are told, is in crisis. Climate crisis. Covid crisis. NHS crisis. Economic crisis, obesity crisis, housing crisis. Education crisis. Energy crisis, population crisis. Cost of living crisis. Prison crisis. Migration crisis. Constitutional crisis. No wonder there’s a mental health crisis. The alcohol crisis is just people trying to stay sane."

I'm sorry you must watch your friend go south with his binge drinking. It is life threatening and too real! Believe me, I know- I'm in recovery and am now 15 years sober. I was headed into oblivion until my best friend confronted me with my cold reality. It jolted me and helped to set me on a better path. I needed to make the commitment for me and no one else- my life changed with the help of my fellows and God's grace. Even a small amount of alcohol can harm, too much will either kill you now or later. Thanks for this analogy- the comparison is worthy and insightful. And I agree with all your points, especially the one about America allowing all the binge items to continue. Only moderate lip service is ever applied to alcohol, tobacco and unhealthy food consumption. We know why- cause the aforementioned make so many so much money. We can chip away one on one- it is incalculable what just one restored life is worth. I have lost several friends to alcohol and drugs- I've lost none to Covid. Keep em coming Mark!

Alcohol. One of the many signal markers that opened my eyes to the Covid narrative. Mass, mainly maskless ‘protests’ in the name of justice during a pandemic, arrows in the aisles of your local supermarket, 6 feet ‘social distancing’ signs everywhere (why not 5 feet, or 7?) , Nancy’s flower shop closed but Al’s wine and spirits? Open!

Ah yes, keep the population high and pacified while the powers-that-be plot their next move. Truth be told, I love beer. I firmly believe, like the t-shirt says, ‘Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy’

I also know I perhaps indulge a bit too much.

That is my choice, however, just as it is to remain unvaccinated. Cheers, Mark!

The response to your probably rhetorical question is simple, as a student of Prohibition history whose grandmother went dancing with Lucky Luciano's nieces.

Prohibition expanded neither federal power nor wealth. Gangsters and foreign powers corrupted federal control of state and local governments to the point of making us a laughingstock. And those same gangsters diverted millions of dollars of revenue AND federal resources that disappeared into black holes of bribes and useless enforcement crusades.

They got it right in the 30s with repeal: money and bribes and influence flowed TOWARDS them, not away. The gangsters moved on to other illegal drugs. Syndicates are a ratcheted system. They don't retire.

With COVID, everything worked. Power and money flowed where it was supposed to. Nobody that matters in the US is poorer or weaker because of COVID.

Whether or not it's a big elite conspiracy is debatable. But Prohibition was a losing move. COVID made unelected government and corporations richer and more powerful than ever.

It's not a bug. It's a feature.

I must say, you are an excellent writer.

One piece of advice given to folks who binge eat is to only eat food they prepare themselves. You want cake, make a cake. You want cookies, make some cookies. This creates an entirely different relationship to the entity of food. Well, the same applies to alcohol. You want wine or beer or cider, make it and drink only what you make. It is ludicrous to tell someone with an overeating problem simply not to eat, and it is also dumb to tell someone with a drinking problem not to drink. Even our founding fathers knew that if we did NOT make our own home brews, we would turn to buying much harder alcohols.

The incorporation of healing herbs and plants into home made alcohols is completely tied to the health of humans, historically and culturally. These plant elements were TAKEN OUT OF BEER BREWING BY AUTHORITIES way back before 1700, because THEY DIDN'T WANT US HEALTHY. Instead, hops were deemed the only additive to make 'official' beer, AND THEY PUT YOU TO SLEEP....ON PURPOSE. They have been trying to DEADEN us for a long time, because if you are lively, oooh, they don't like that.

A really good primer for brewing the old way is Stephen Buhners 'Sacred and Herbal Healing Beers'.

Finally, if you are gonna drink proof liquor, or use it for making tincures and medicines, don't use GRAIN ALCOHOL it makes you a zombie. Pay an extra dollar and make sure it's Potato Vodka, well distilled. Never use Everclear to make any medicine, its badly distilled. CHEAPER WELL DRINKS AND WELL LIQUORS DO MUCH MORE DAMAGE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT WELL DISTILLED AND YOUR LIVER HAS TO FINISH THE JOB. Finally here are some founding fathers quotes on alcohol....

"I wish to see this beverage [home made beer] become common instead of the whiskey which kills one-third of our citizens and ruins their families." Thomas Jefferson

In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is Freedom, and in water there is bacteria.” Benjamin Franklin

Mark, another scintillating read!

As an on and off binge drinker since the age of 14, thankfully off the sauce 5 1/2 years now, I can relate to your friend’s condition. “One is too many, and a thousand not enough.”

Fascinating comparison of the vastly overblown and bewildering, harm inducing response to the ‘rona compared to allowances granted - even encouraged - for truly detrimental substances (behaviors) in our society.

IMO and that of increasing numbers of alarmed citizens, the only logical(?) reason for this and other shockingly horrific manufactured events plaguing our world keep circling back to democide. Are you there yet?

I have never seen this parallel made to prohibition yet. Yes!

My husband used to drink _a lot_ starting at the age of 14 until 27. He had several lifetimes’ worth of booze during that time. I was in his life for the last few years of that period. I know what it is like to wish that alcohol would cease to exist everywhere entirely. I always knew that such a wish was insane.

May your friend somehow overcome. I hope he does. An alternative medicine practitioner would be a great addition to his life. I just heard of an intriguing one in NJ.

My husband made a decision to stop drinking, and he did (albeit 3 different times instead of just once). There was nothing more interesting about his stopping technique than that. The strange thing was that, as a result of the fact that he quit suddenly/ abruptly/ with no drama, my husband had the least compassion of anyone else for his own dad, who lost the same type of struggle with alcohol.
