REFUSING TO ADMIT THAT CORONAMANIA WAS A SCAM

I recently had dinner with an old friend, who’s a Democrat. Now that the Covid lockdowns and mask, testing and vaxx (“LMTV”) mandates have all predictably and abjectly failed, he couldn’t defend them on the merits. Though some of his ilk will implausibly continue to do so.

Instead of saying the LMTVs worked, he pivoted and asserted that the LMTVs were— passive voice—just a big mistake. Democrat politicians like Kathy Hochul are already doing the same thing. You’ll hear a lot of this in the coming weeks and months.

But the Covid overreaction wasn’t simply bad judgment that caused incidental harm. From the outset, it was deliberately orchestrated political and economic opportunism.

Dozens of basic questions re: the theory and practice of LMTVs lacked good answers.

For example, scientifically:

Isn’t the world, and aren’t human bodies, full of microbes, including viruses?

After two weeks—or two months or two years or two decades—would a virus simply vanish into the ether or die of frustration for lack of hosts because most people avoided each other or wore masks?

If this virus is so contagious and dangerous, why isn’t anyone I know dying?

Weren’t the people said to be dying from this virus in Italy and Spain almost exclusively old, sick or overweight? Isn’t that who usually dies with a virus?

Don’t healthy immune systems quell infections?

And practically:

Who were these bureaucrats, Fauci and Birx, and what have they done to deserve such deference and to quarantine healthy people for the first time in history?

Why, given that viruses pass through the population all the time, would the most ostensibly fearsome virus of all-time arrive during an election year?

How does it make sense to close small businesses while leaving large ones open?

If masks block viruses, why do mask wearers care if others don’t wear them?

How can we know a “vaccine” is “safe and effective” when it’s only existed for a few months?

Somehow neither Democrats, nor their media arm asked these, or many other obvious questions. Instead, Democrats want to excuse their Party’s governors and mayors persistent opportunism and to protect their own egos by taking refuge in the alibi that “People did the best they could, knowing what they knew at the time.”

Following two-plus years of non-stop lies, this is the most encompassing and embittering. Given data from Europe and military and cruise ships, it was clear, in March, 2020, that this virus, like most viruses, threatened only the old and unhealthy, and not so many of them. Nonetheless, the Democrat-complicit media will ensure that the extreme, opportunistic and failed measures that Democrats implemented and sustained were just an instance of the “Oops!” This is revisionism at its worst.

I told my friend what I’ve said since the lockdowns’ first day: Coronamania was a politically and economically motivated scam. It was used to oust the white whale Trump and to further skew the economy in favor of the already rich, the Med/Pharma Complex and the laptop-job class that constitutes and bankrolls the Democrat Party.

When I discuss the Scamdemic with Democrats, they demonstrate a poor command of basic Biology and the data needed to analyze the Covid interventions. As one of many examples, they have no idea what a PCR test is and how it’s been used to sell derivative Coronamania lies. Given such pervasive informational deficits, their thinking is commensurately compromised.

My friend maintained that all of Europe reacted the same as the US did and that European heads of state didn’t hate Trump. He further asserted that if the lockdowns had been about stealing an election, Democrats would have claimed victory over Covid shortly after inauguration.

In response, and to begin with, I reminded my friend that most European leaders did hate Trump and wanted him gone.

Nor did I love Trump, especially after he caved to Birx and Fauci and authorized the Emergency Declaration and the CARES Act’s six trillion-dollar potlatch. He also later boasted about promoting the development of “vaccines” that not only failed but injured and killed many. But Trump wasn’t so comparatively—to the cognitively challenged, dishonest, corrupt and creepy Biden—objectionable that ousting Trump justified wrecking a society and the lives of so many people, especially the young.

Further, America’s plainly overzealous approach wasn’t applied all over the world, or even all across Europe. For example, Scandinavia was far less restrictive.

Central Europe’s—and Canada’s, Australia’s and New Zealand’s—governments overreacted to the Coronavirus because they, as do American Democrats, enjoy controlling others and implementing top-down, technocratic strategies. There was, in March, 2020, a peer-pressured wave of benighted mimicry by Euro and Anglophone nations eager to impose the latest, central government, unrealistic, social-engineering scheme. It was another woke race to the bottom.

However, and significantly, while many American public schools were closed for 18 months, many European students returned to school in May, 2020; Swedes never left. Many other African and Asian nations reopened schools by August, 2020. This is another important fact that most Democrats didn’t know.

If Democrat-driven American teachers’ unions hadn’t prevented public schools from reopening, the US would have, no later than August, 2020, looked and functioned very differently than it did with schools closed. Moreover, with public schools open, it would have been even more obvious to Americans that this overhyped virus simply didn’t threaten most people. By reopening sooner, American private schools debunked the mythical threat of school-based viral spread. The media conveniently ignored this highly significant data sample.

By Summer, 2020, the Scam became even plainer than it had been in Spring, 2020. Bureaucrats like Fauci and Birx and many other imperious Democrats like Cuomo, Murphy, Whitmer and Newsom knew that neither border closures, lockdowns, school closures, arbitrary social distancing nor masks nor tests worked. Nonetheless, they continued these measures in order to sustain fear. Yet, each was caught disregarding these measures.

Team Panic bureaucrats also knew that the asymptomatic were unlikely to spread illness and that that natural and herd immunity quelled the spread of respiratory viruses. They conveniently acted as if they didn’t know this and continued to sell fear. The elections were held during this contrived crisis.

The predicate data were gamed from the get-go. Legislators financially incentivized hospitals to code hospitalizations and deaths as Covid-related. “Experts” knew that 40 cycle PCR tests delivered 90+% false positives. But they supported mass-scale 40 PCR testing to build Covid case and death numbers. And, again unbeknownst to most Democrats, the CARES Act created financial incentives for hospitals to misattribute deaths to Covid.

Similarly, in a seeming, unseemly attempt to boost death tolls, governors also released infected vulnerable elderly patients to nursing homes. To further increase the death tolls and to build demand for lucrative injections, public health agencies and social media sites actively blocked information regarding early treatment and self-care.

Throughout, the most locked down, masked up states had the highest Covid death rates. Governors imposed interstate travel bans even though state infection rates were nearly equal. You had to wear a mask while reading a restaurant menu but could remove it during a long meal. Baseball stadiums banned spectators but throngs were allowed to attend political rallies, and to riot. People stood in long Walmart lines but avoided Election Day lines by voting by mail. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of uninjected migrants were allowed and encouraged to enter the US. The “mitigation” measures simply didn’t add up.

Researchers “miraculously” developed, in a few months, an mRNA vaxx for a Corona virus, even though they had previously tried, and failed, to do so for decades. Democrats strived to inject everyone against a disease that threatened only a small, identifiable slice of the population. Those who refused were vilified and fired. The shots were deemed “safe and effective” when there had been no time to study long-term safety or effectiveness. It turned out that I, and the other vaxx decliners were right: the shots were neither safe nor effective. The myth about a “Pandemic of the Unvaccinated” was based on statistical chicanery that I’ve detailed in prior posts.

Despite saying he wouldn’t mandate the vaxx, Biden soon did so, and in the most ham-handedly unconstitutional manner. Even if you vaxxed, you still had to wear a mask. And if you masked, you still had to vaxx. More political theater. Mass injection fostered the illusion of control via medical intervention.

The foregoing could not have been a series of honest mistakes.

My dinner-mate also asserted that if the lockdowns/masking/testing/vaxxing had been about winning an election, Biden could have claimed victory a few months after taking office.

I thought this might happen. The number of PCR test cycles could have been quietly dialed down to cut the false positives. Further, hospitals’ financial incentives to attribute deaths to Covid could have been removed. Thereafter, Biden could have read—balkily—from his teleprompter that he’d crushed the virus via his mass vaccination crusade; even though these were the same “Trump Vaxxes” he and Harris vowed, during the campaign, not to take.

But the shots failed too obviously. And Democrats saw residual social, economic and electoral process value in sustaining fear. Democrats know they’ll take a beating in the midterms if they can’t push for manipulable mail-in voting; without the spectre of infection haunting America, more people will vote in-person.

Additionally, even after all of the mask, test and vaxx failure, Democrats are still pushing these obviously counterproductive interventions because abandoning this nonsense would be tantamount to admitting the Scam. And that would be a bad look.

Saying only say that “Mistakes were made” rings as hollow as a serial adulterer explaining the failure of his marriage by saying, “We just grew apart.”

Regardless of what happens going forward and which form of Corona revisionism gains currency, “The Party of the People” has opportunistically done tremendous, permanent damage.

They need to own it. The media needs to say it. Neither will happen.

But without such a reckoning, the divide they created won’t just fade away. Because people like me have long memories. And the Scamdemic-induced damage will be so obvious and lasting that there will be many opportunities to remind the lockdown/school closure/vaxx supporters of the harm they caused.
