The government, corporations, media and big pharma were covid terrorists. They terrorized everyone for profit. It was the ugliest time during my near 70 years. I will never forgive or trust the government again.

The root of the problem is that we never should have trusted the government in the first place. The United States was established with the foundational understanding that government was not to be trusted, that it would become oppressive and dangerous if not severely restricted..

However, It didn't take long before a great psy-op took hold. The American public became indoctrinated with the belief that government was our great savior and protector, the source of our abundance, the wellspring of all that was good in our lives. It was never true.

During the discussion after my Philly talk, someone said with anguish that he trusted his government. Others agreed with him.

My trust is conditional and situational. I trust the government, but only when they do something that I think makes sense. None of the Covid response ever made sense to me.

Same with many other government interventions.

Mark, I used to be with you. I have eventually concluded that my trust is neither conditional nor situational. It is just non-existent. I might tolerate them doing something that makes sense -- but one virtually always discovers that the thing that looks like it makes sense is an accidental byproduct of something they are REALLY doing that is inimical to me or the Country.

Musk made Twitter far better by firing 90% of the people. The government people are less competent than those at Twitter I expect, so 95%+ seems like the right "You're fired" number there. It cannot happen soon enough.

If Milei can do it, so can we.

Though I have despised the very idea of government for decades -- and especially its most egregious example in D.C. of what it can become -- the swallowing of the official story of the Sep 11 attacks did it for me. This I mean in terms of 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 understanding that you could tell people 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈.

Government, media, academia, and the U.S. military ran that operation. Americans by a vast majority believed it all. They castigated -- sometimes viciously -- all those who raised any questions and chafed at the violation of our basic freedoms. Sound familiar?

This was especially true for those of us who asked how the monumental failure of the entire U.S. apparatus had anything whatsoever to do with our 4th and 5th Amendment protections. "Just take your shoes off!" my fellow traveling Americans hollered. "It's for our safety!" Sound familiar?

Americans' conduct -- which I knew before even they did -- at the start and throughout the COVID op sadly hammered home one thing for sure: I will never be able to trust 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎 again.

Unfortunately, as one of those who defied all the “recommendations’, I have found that my opinions of, and attitude towards those people (often friends and family), who complied has had to be reevaluated and modified. This often pains me.

Expand full comment

Yes. Discovering that every single one of my family, friends, coworkers, neighbors has feet of clay was so fundamentally dismaying. For a long-enough period of time, I kept thinking, "surely they will snap out of it, and we will get our relationships back" -- but no -- horrifyingly no -- even now, after four and a half years, some are still jabbing, testing and masking, while others nod along with the TV and talk about how there is a rise in COVID and we all have to protect ourselves. "Be safe out there." I am so SICK of that word "safe."

But mostly, I have realized now, for quite some time, that these friendships will never be restored. I can maintain friendly relations with them, but we are so far apart in our thinking, that I can't live in their particular universe. It's irrational, fear-based, control-based, and I don't want that.

The whole “Safetyism” cult is the reason they use to justify their increasing control. Here in Australia it’s used to justify censorship and “trans” rights especially. It’s very noticeable that it has spawned generations of pathetic people with no resilience. Probably the plan all along.

Have a look around at the people who refused to comply with the edicts. I would bet money that most of them were over 45 years old.

It’s very sad to see most of your family bow to the tyrants without any thought at all.

All of the people on Substacks such as this are about the only thing that has kept me sane.

The thing about age and compliance.... I honestly don't know.

I'm over 45, but my loved ones and coworkers, friends, etc. who took these shots and complied range in age from young adults (meaning, they made their own decision and were not at the mercy of adults choosing FOR them) all the way up to their 90s. Every single one complied and put pressure on me to comply.

My relationship broke up due to this pressure for me to comply, and my refusal. My adult children pressured me heavily to take these shots, because they perceived me to be in the older, "vulnerable" group in need of protection. Ridiculous!

I am too old to have more children, but believe me if I were younger and found an unshotted partner to help repopulate the planet, I would definitely do my part. I sometimes wonder what my role might look like, 20 years hence.... will there be an even greater depopulation, and a small remnant remaining? Like a dystopian horror movie, but actual.

So far.... I have met only ONE other person in real life (not previously known to me before COVID) who saw through it from the very beginning and knew not to jab.

That is part of it, too..... I am friends with many people who took the shots and bought into it, and most of them still do. A few have seen the light. But finding the rare jewel of any age who just "knew" not to -- that is gold to me.

I'd always had a sense many of these people, while so superficially "nice"and having the Right Views, lacked moral courage.

It was also a forcing function to move away from the 90+% Democratic party cult region in which we lived. The most positive thing was removing our teen and preteen children from indoctrination on racial essentialism and queerness as well.

The level of dysfunction exhibited by our former friends in being unable to maintain friendships with any minor level of disagreement was staggering... Itsy really a very sick little worldview.

I never wore a mask. I'd just say I was exempt when they told me to put one on or leave. Most people are stupid and can't think quickly enough to respond.

El Gato published an excellent article today that touches on what I think was happening here. It’s fascinating how many lifelong Democrats were red-pilled by this event. But what’s surprising is how many right-leaning people were also fooled by the pandemic’s “oligarchy” and haven’t returned to what I’d call team reality. I can’t understand how anyone could see it as anything other than one of the greatest public health crimes against humanity.

My twin 11-year-old boys lost two years of their lives. We paid an outrageous amount for private education, only to have them spend two hours a day in front of a screen. They shut down the hockey rink in San Francisco, and all kids’ sports required masks throughout games and practices. Even in Republican counties in California like Orange and Placer, similar restrictions were in place, but by the second year, no one was following them in these counties. Meanwhile, in the Bay Area, schools stayed closed for two years, and mask mandates dragged on just as long.

I will never forgive or forget what happened to us. Those responsible need to be held accountable for their crimes. Unfortunately, I don’t see any path to making that happen. My greatest fear is that this will happen again.

During this event, I was angry. I wanted to right the wrongs and allow everyone to “get their life back” but for me, the ones I was the most angry for were the Juniors and Seniors in high school. I wanted life back for the new young families with babies who were stripped of their ability to provide financially for their family. I wanted the elderly in hospice to be able to die peacefully with their family hands firmly locked together during what I can only imagine as one of the most tragic and scary times any human being ever endures.

My life was turned upside down, but we thrived—while millions of others didn’t. My father would have wanted it that way. He taught me that no matter how bad things get, you can not only get by but also thrive. So that’s what we did. We packed our backpacks and, once virtual school ended around 10:30 a.m., set off to Golden Gate Park on bikes or rollerblades. We packed lunches (sometimes I’d sneak in a few beers) and brought soccer balls, baseball gear, footballs, lacrosse equipment, and hockey sticks for roller hockey. It became one of the most enjoyable times of my life.

Often, my wife, a doctor, would be done with work by 2:30 or 3:00 since there were no patients at her hospital, and she’d join us. I’d finish my work early too. It felt strange at times—a mix of guilt and something else. I thought about the people who didn’t have this chance to enjoy life in the way we were. It’s a feeling I can’t quite describe and will never forget. My wife noticed it; she called it anger. Maybe she was right. I told her I hated the people who created this, and she wasn’t pleased, but even now, I can’t let go of the anger. I hate those who brought this on us, and I hate those still too blind to see it for what it really was.

The scamdemic is part of the eugenics philosophy, which is that some groups of people are useless and must be eliminated. Malthusian in its basic logic, It was championed by Paul Erlich, Henry Kissinger, and all the Rockefellers, among others. The world's population, they reasoned, can't be more than 1 billion and preferably around 500 million. So, all of the mechanizations and policies you list are just ways of controlling, and destroying, humans. The mRNA injections were know to be both dangerous and ineffective back in the early 2000's and the specific ones from Pfizer and Moderna were known in November of 2020 to be very dangerous and lethal. As Dr. Bowden in Houston says, "All risk, no benefit". This is why all over the world "leaders" have given themselves passes from the injections, like in NZ, where Ardhern gave 11k of her family and friends, waivers from the injections, as did Zuckerberg for his executives and all the members of our Congress and their staffs. And this does not count all those who got placebos of one type of the other. Repeatedly "leaders" and their families were caught breaking their own masking, distancing, and all the other dictates for the hoi palloi. So, as Lenin said, "What is to be done?" Like you have done, never give an inch to these ghouls and always remember they are part of a death cult, with ultimate goal to reduce the world's population, as one of them said recently, "as humanely as possible". Only support politicians who have seen the light and are willing to fight with us against these totalitarians. Support only those business and institutions that have rejected all of these policies. Help those who are injured those compassion and care, even if they were ones who trashed you during the last 3 years. Lastly, pray the criminal charges against Gates in Belgium are proved and he goes to jail, as he is one of the most powerful and wealthiest ghouls.

Also, Mark, there’s something that needs to be addressed. Yes, those under 70 and healthy were at almost zero risk. Throughout 2020 and 2021, I kept saying that the only ones truly at risk were those over 70 and in critical condition—so let’s protect them only. But we can never allow this to happen again. I believe many older patients didn’t die from the virus itself but from the protocols imposed in hospitals. Going forward, we need to fight for everyone’s right to freedom. If someone is scared and wants to isolate, no problem—I’ll gladly come over and nail their door shut for them. But don’t ever tell me again about “two weeks to flatten the curve.”

Now in my need, they both immediately jumped to the task, offering a drive to the vet and the doc. Thankfully the dog recuperated and on Monday, I was able to get myself to a new doc. The old one retired and the one I tried was a disaster. After a very long wait, I was met by a very gentle nurse (no needles, no unnecessary talk), then the head nurse, and then a very understanding doc. All 3 looked with interest at the herbal treatments I had tried, but which could not do the job. Then the doc prescribed something, and now 4 days later, I already feel much better. I appreciate your continued thought and attention to this topic. Some ppl seem to have forgotten or want to put it behind them. I have continued to robustly live my life but have never forgotten and not forgiven what these ppl did. Recently a medical partner of mine came to work at noon to start his afternoon shift of seeing patients and he said hello to me and proudly announced that he had just gotten his flu shot. This is a person who swallowed every stupid liberal trope there ever was. This is a person who majored in government at Harvard university. This is an individual who argued with me about masks and when he found out that I was not going to take any of the vaccines, engaged me and countless arguments and and insulted me to my face. I told him that flu shots are ineffective. and try to explain the math and the logic. He’s a brainwashed liberal elite and he dismissed my comments as being “preposterous” and “absurd”

What I have found is that arguing with people like this is like arguing with a religious person. If you tell a devout religious person that their religious beliefs are nonsense, they get angry with you because you are attacking their moral identity. a liberal Harvard educated western elite has based his entire moral identity on buying into this liberal progressive worldview.

When I try to explain to him that the liberal progressive worldview is essentially fascistic and based on nothing but power and control he gets angry and calls me names.

This is a 50-year-old Harvard educated surgical subspecialist who will say things like “taxes are the price we pay for a civilized society“ When in fact, nothing could be further from the truth.

Anyway, I really appreciate your continued thought and writing on this subject. My loss of faith and trust in the people around me and basically all the institutions of our society continues to be heartbreaking and profound and I don’t see it returning anytime soon.

No one rules if no one obeys. Two weeks to flatten the curve? Yeah: It would have taken two weeks, on the outside, of mass disobedience for the bullshit to end. No one would have needed to get their lives back because no one would have rolled over and given them up. It wouldn't even have taken a majority. I was naive enough to believe that after two weeks, people would snap back to normal, just like you mentioned. I fully expected that, by day 15, my friends and I would have our lives back on track. I thought my kids’ private school would reopen in two weeks. That’s how naive I was. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine we’d become a nation so weak and compliant. The masses turned into sheep running towards the cliff.

I thought people would tire of the nonsense in a few weeks.

But I found out that that many enjoyed doing less work and commuting, had screens to pacify them and don't much value human company. Those who did like being with others sneaked around and did stuff.

Crappy jobs, who wouldn't want to work from home, or just NOT WORK? Right?

Yeah, I got red-pilled big time, and I already hated people. I already hated government. It was still astounding how stupid, credulous, fearful, and compliant everyone was over something that was such an obvious scam. And don't even get me started on the doctors or I'll be here all day telling you how much I came to despise those craven morons.

Craven morons - you are being extremely generous. Murderous cowards is more like it.

It's a big tent. There's room for both kinds of scumbag.

ALL kinds of scumbag!

It was global, not just one place. People are easily frightened when authorities tell them really scary stuff. That's why the CIA is so successful...

I have a woman friend, who was a part of our Warriors of the Radical Light group (after Dr. Christiane Northrup coined the term, regarding what we all were doing during the Scamdemic) that we formed here in San Diego County, where I live.

She is also a “lactation consultant”. She is in her mid 60’s. Her ‘career’ basically ground to a halt during the Scamdemic, and she has never recovered, getting back clients. She told me most ‘modern’ woman today, are averse to breast feeding. They do not feel this strong attachment towards bonding with their child or a commitment to breastfeed their child.

These are Moms that are putting their ‘babies’ in ‘daycare’ at 6 months old and rushing back to their jobs and their careers! Makes one wonder why they even felt they needed to have these children in the first place.

I have often wondered the same thing. You never get back the time with your kids when they need you the most.

And how has your wife’s career/profession as a ‘lactation consultant’ been affected by the Scamdemic? Is she still working? What is her experience of the mood of the moms these past four years that have had kids about breastfeeding in general? You might want to talk about that.

Wow, just wow. You nailed it. I can relate to every word from feeding newborns to coping with the injustices of the plandemic. Fabulous article, thank you.

It is a little disappointing that more people aren't getting the more fundamental lesson of the scamdemic. By that I mean many say that BECAUSE there was no real threat beyond normal seasonal illness, the government shouldn't have done what it did. My contention is that EVEN IF there was a pandemic, the government has no right to restrict individual liberty. Individuals and businesses are quite capable of making whatever modifications in their behavior that they think is in their best interest and that of others. It is good that some people learned that the government lies to them but failure to take it to the logical conclusion will, I fear, just leave them vulnerable to the next scam.

I wish it were true that all people see that the government has lied to them over the past 4.5 years. I think most Americans still buy the "Covid was terrible and the gov't saved us" narrative.

Unfortunately I have come to a simillar conclusion. But those peeps are mummified by their TVs and a good number of them are largely taken up with caring for themselves and/or loved ones who have chronic illnesses. What I mean to say is, I don't think the mummified ones have an influence proportional to their numbers.

Speaking of TV, I haven't had one in my house for decades, but last night I happened to be getting dinner in a sportsbar, my only option, and so on the inevitable jumbo TV screens I got a dose of vaccine ads. What can I say, it's not the planet I live on. The hamburger was good, though.

People who don't own TVs are my tribe. People who don't use a cellphone are my inner circle.

Though in full disclosure, my wife bought one for me to use on our last European vacation. (The shame still hurts.)

I agree. That is why I wrote "some people learned that the government has lied to them".
