I remember going to protest after protest in the streets of Montreal with thousands of others and NO MEDIA - EVER!!! At least we found each other and saw, for sure, that we were not alone.

As Charles Eisenstein never tires to intone, sanity is a collective project 😊

🗨 sanity, it's to expand our acceptance of reality to include the things that had been left out, or exiled, because they were uncomfortable, because they didn't fit, because they challenged our self, our identity or a worldview.

🗨 this expansion of our beliefs, cannot be done through individual heroism [...]. I'm not made of different stuff than anyone else. I can't stay sane on my own.

Yes, Eisenstein has been such a beacon all along! 💜

Mark, you are an inspiration. Always refreshing to read what you have to say. There's a great saying "Friends are the family you pick for yourself"........so now you can say you have family in SD! I pick you.

Many of us have found each other here, and it has been truly magical. For all the lost friends we've grieved, the new friends have absolutely been an upgrade IMO. Like flying 1st class!! The very best wishes and prayers to you and yours. Please keep on keeping on with excellent dispatches.......

Thanks, So.

I agree. Out with the old and in with the new, and sane.

You should come to NJ. I would host you and we can surf. If the waves are good.

Expand full comment

Just as you put out offers to host, I extend the same to you dear Mark. Should you want to come to Castle Rock CO in the non-growing season, my husband, Bill and I would love to host your wife and you. In fact, based on the kinship in this substack, I think you could stay around the country in people’s homes. I think you could make an excellent book of your experience. I hope you will consider the idea. Seriously.

Wish my husband and I could find like minded folks in our small town in Texas. We moved here from San Antonio but still haven’t found our way, feel like outsiders or strangers like nobody wants to talk about it or the jabs. Can we still order tshirts or is it too late? I would love to order! Thank you 🙏

Stephanie - you might try putting out a prayer or source request. My best friend here did that, and after we met she said, "Oh my gosh...I can't believe it......I just asked the universe for a girlfriend and the next day I met you!! We must truly be in a vortex )".

Just a couple of weeks later after spending time and much conversation, she says,

"I think you must be my reincarnated twin who I lost at birth!"

I feel the same, she's a delight......so give it a try and be specific :)!! Ask more than once.

I find people don't want to talk about the recent past, as if it never happened. People are still afraid, ashamed, confused, I don't know. I'm not sure people will be willing and able to resist a part two. I suspect not.

I've noticed the same unwillingness to talk about what happened. I'll write more about this soon. But what do some of you have to say about this?

People who now realize they've been scammed, they don't want to lose face. For many, I think it's as simple as that. Anyway, their medical decisions are none of my business, just as mine are none of their business. So if they don't want to talk about their jabs, I respect that. On the other hand, there are people who violated other people's human rights and they need to be held accountable before the law. If the criminals and bullies don't want to talk about what happened, well, cry me a Niagara Falls.

I get extreme discomfort and a cold shoulder from those who want to pretend nothing much has happened. Looked down and patronized and called a tin hatter by extra educated Know-betters (not). On the other hand, the few who understand the true situation are bold and full of mistrust of the various authorities that led us astray to much harm.

The craziness will not be « The Past » until there is a reckoning about what’s happened, I also cannot/am not willing to let it go. I call it « pinging out », in all kinds of settings, mentioning that I am just coming down from extreme anger and depression for over 3 yrs, how I flipped my top, lost my ground and could not recognise or understand « my people » anymore, etc. Yes, let us continue to locate our tribe by giving one another occasions to recognise each other. We cannot let this thought terrorism shut us down. My favourite: « ah yes, I’ve been a conspiracy theorist since waaaaaayyyyy before covid was declared! » {{badge of honour}}. Claim it! Even with the high unlikelihood that it could wake anyone up anymore at this point!

Near as I can tell you’ll soon need to add 2.0 under the word, Coronavirus. It’s all coming back. Masks, mandates, shots, unsolicited mail-in ballots. By Halloween I expect the sequel to, The Monster From the Petri Dish will be playing in every major city. Tickets will be sold for the low, low price of freedom, liberty and personal sovereignty. If the movie is a blockbuster America is done. Fully conquered. If it’s a flop there might be hope. The cauldrons are bubbling. We will see.

What is a good one-liner to say to people who have started wearing masks again.

I live in a small town in west Texas.

I said to one young man - Are you doing a social experiment?? He just laughed, behind his mask.

Would it work to say Hey!! Thanks for helping the medical tyranny take over!!

I just do not understand this mentality, so I don't know the correct path. To be honest I want to beat the crap out of them.

Two summers ago, at a hike in a rocky mountain range at over 10,000 feet elevation, passing two teenage boys who wore masks, I joked at them, are you robbing a bank? There was no one else around and they said nothing, just looked at me. Kinda funny but mostly very sad. I wonder, people have to have the lightbulb moment on their own, but we must keep speaking and jesting.

Sadly, I think some teenagers wear masks because of magnified teenage insecurities. They, literally, don’t want to share their faces with the world. It’s so sad. They pretend to be “COVID” afraid so that they have an excuse to mask up their low self esteem.

I have a friend with bad teeth who does that.

A good friend (who along with her husband became our best friends as of 2020) is a middle school teacher in a very liberal suburb. Some of her students, when she asked why they were still wearing masks last year, actually told her they didn’t want people “to see how ugly” they were. She did her best to combat that thinking, encouraging them to show their beautiful smiles. It’s so sad what the fear porn did to their parents and consequently to way too many kids.

I've wondered about the kids. I had to wear a uniform in high school and we would go out of our way to skirt the rules especially outside. Yet I see kids walking from the high school with masks on where no one would enforce them. On my way to the swim center which is next to the high school I would see kids wearing masks on their way to smoke weed behind a large bush in back. Always felt like saying something but couldn't think what.

As always I enjoyed the story Mark. Here's the crazy part - I just orded two shirts this afternoon. One has a sheep that is wearing a mask. It just says "Sheeple". The other has the bald headed meme guy with three shots poking out of him and a mask on his face. It says, "Govern me harder Daddy". I'm fairly convinced that masks are going to come back in my area (Seattle suburb). There's been whispers for the past week or so. And I just saw Kirsch's notes about the college in Atlanta requiring masks for the first two weeks of school. Here we go again... Maybe it's time I make a new video. I have no objections about coming to NJ, although I have given up flying for good. (Advice from an ex flight attendant: "And you should too!!".).....And driving is getting pricey. So I will likely stay put, and have summer garden responsibilities similar to your own. We are kindred spirits for sure. Anyway, I have decided to forego "all personal agenda(s) and have offered up my services (boots on the ground) to the instructions I an open to receiving from the Universe or Source. The synchronicity since doing so, has been remarkable and unbelievable. I've had lots of meaningful coincidences in my life, with this type of messaging from time to time, however, I believe I've been given a promotion. So be it! Super spreader of love & light, and highly contagious to my friends. Be well, Mark.
