substack now and then sends 3 freebies of one month to paid subscribers. I thought they told you writers this! I give mine to a few people I know, but there are not many to give them to, as my former friends are all needle - happies, and those that are not have no computer LOL ! Looking forward to your post.

Thanks for the update Mark. I’m still happily paying “full price.”

I'm content with my very reasonable monthly rate, Mark. Would laugh at an offer of a discounted rate.

I love your writing and would love to support you, but I have a yearly subscription budget and I’m at my max.

I think you deserve to charge for your work and would not expect you to give it away for free.

There are so many wonderful writers on Substack I want to subscribe to, but just can’t afford all of them. I wish Substack offered some kind of group subscription rates, such as x for 5 writers, y for 10, z for 20 with volume discounts.

I got rid of cable tv and most streaming services and re-allocated that money to alt-media, but the budget only stretches so far.

I will miss reading your excellent posts and wish you lots of success. You deserve it.

The paid subscription price here is remarkably low as it is. A small price to pay to support a good guy with his head and heart in the right place, delivering a vital message with grace and humor. Whether he lives in Hoostersville or Pixley.

Mark - I haven't been keeping up, so much work, but I enjoy your writing even if I've missed my snarky comments. Hoping to take you for lunch or dinner in the coming months. Just finished doing battle with a chicken in a tree. Hope she's still there in the morning.

As another reader noted, I have also received “gift subscriptions”. I’m guessing it is Substack’s way to grow traffic on the site. My hope is the cost for a discount or gift subscription would come out of Substack’s bottom line as opposed to the writer’s, much like sale item’s at stores. Substack should invest in good relationships with writers. Without writers, Substack wouldn’t exist. Enjoy the summer weather in Jersey. I won’t be back to my home State of Texas for three more weeks. Not looking forward to the July and August oven.

As usual, another prose gem. I'd add the Reader Comments at your site are impressive. They're all very-well written and make wonderful points. Many of us have observed we might be living in a country over-run with people with logic "deficits." But not every American suffers from this affliction ... Reading the Reader Comments at "Dispatches from a Scamdemic" gives a fellow a little more hope.

I'm sure you just got tired of listing obvious questions that weren't asked. Nobody asked this one either:

Is it possible this virus was infecting (many) Americans before February 2020? Isn't there lots of evidence that would strongly suggest this was the case?

If anyone is interested in any of this evidence, they can visit my Substack!

.... Also, I don't think there was any great or legitimate reason to be flying spy missions over the Soviet Union. The USSR was NOT going to attack or invade America or even Europe. Just a decade or so earlier, that nation had lost about 70 million citizens with a world war with Germany. They weren't looking for the next war that could kill even more of their citizens. But that was "the narrative" - The Soviet Union was going to start WWIII.

What would Mr. Spock say about our New Normal world? The writer’s tool of “logic” has led me to some very disturbing conclusions.

For those who have not seen the whole 3-hour Rogan interview with RFK, Jr., I wrote an article that highlights some of the topics that jumped out at me. That is, the short segments I found on Twitter did not capture everything that’s important and very interesting.

Not on this topic, but I still believe this taboo subject is crucially important ...

Regarding "early spread" of the novel corona virus, what did President Trump NOT know … and why didn’t he know this? Did his key scientific advisors conceal important information from him that might have called off the lockdowns? FWIW, here’s what SHOULD have happened in the history-changing first 75 days of 2020:

If future historians come close to telling the true, human story of Covid, it will be in large part because of the heroic work of an anonymous writer known as “Transcriber B” on Substack. My Q & A with this unsung hero explains why she’s doing what she’s doing and identifies some of the most heart-wrenching transcripts she’s preserved for posterity.

That was one of your strongest summaries/analysis yet. I liked every paragraph, but think your most-important paragraphs were the ones that remind readers that these people and organizations have been lying about EVERYTHING. We can't trust any of them ... but they are all still in power or hold positions of "leadership." So what does that portend for our future?

The chairman of a Congressional Subcommittee on the Pandemic said today that the Constitution should NOT have been “suspended” 40 months ago.

This is a very encouraging sign that Congress - at least the Republicans - are belatedly recognizing the scale of this massive and alarming error.

The chairman’s opening statement is very good. I hope more people on “our side” can contact him and other members of this Committee and give them an atto-boy and entourage them to keep this issue front and center. I also know the MSM will ignore this, which is why I was quick to post a story. Share it if you can.
