Hello Mark and thank you for another great post.😊

I think when the 'pandemic' ends depends on where one is. I'm in Missouri and all the mask mandates have been gone since before Halloween. The attorney general has been a busy bee and he is one of the ones taking the employer vaxx mandate to the supreme court. He's won all the cases to stop mask mandates, including in schools. The statehouse passed legislation barring vaxx passports over a year ago. And just before Thanksgiving the governor officially declared the emergency over.

I hear similar stories from people in other red states.

Don't let the blues give you the blues 😉.

Thanks, Bright.

It's true that NJ/NY have been near the top of the Totalitarian List. Some of it has worsened my life and the lives of people I love.

But I try to use each day well. And I'm happy most of each day.

NJ isn't really that bad in most of the state. I live in Burlington, no masks required anywhere around me and when i make myself a pain in the ass about covid stuff businesses immediately acquiesce and the employees generally agree with me.

I too, live in the great 'almost' free state of Missouri. Over Thanksgiving we traveled to Illinois to our kids and were thrust into total bewilderment when we crossed over the state line between Iowa and Illinois. First stop was a restaurant for lunch and masks were every where...we were the only old couple in the building without any. Then we get to the kids and they were suggesting things to do but said we would all have to wear a mask, even to an outdoor lighting display. We refused all their offers and told them they could go along without us...we would not don a mask to be entertained. We were extremely glad to get back to our rural north Missouri were the only time we donned a mask was to see our doctor during any of the pandemic. We have the greatest respect for our AG.

Almost as if there really was something to that 2012 dimension/ascension stuff. Apparently, the difference between those who made the cut and those that didn't becomes increasingly apparent over time and just ratchets off around 2020, and the difference just becomes more and more apparent from there. They never mentioned the part where everyone would still be on the same ship together though.

Excellent piece. Sums up perfectly what folks should have been thinking all along. Thanks for writing it and for your blog. It is much appreciated.

It's hard to fight fear and hysteria once it takes a hold of a society.

As one whose career has been affected by the vaccine mandates, it would be nice to see the madness go away but I remain pessimistic. The mass formation psychosis is strong, even amongst my PhD holding family members. No amount of sharing of statistics or real world observations seems to matter. I guess I shouldn't be surprised as I remember having a friend who joined a religious cult in the '80s and no matter how strongly we tried to reason and debate with her, the grip was too strong. Eventually, she killed herself. It was tragic and I see the parallels now and it disturbs me greatly.

I can now, in a small way, understand what the non-hypnotized German people of the '30s must have felt. Unfortunately, it "only" took 15 or so years for that madness to end.

I can't help but notice that commenters' messages, such as yours, are very well constructed and reasoned. I feel a kinship with you all amidst this lunacy.

Best for 2022.

In So Cal here. I’m going to take an early retirement to avoid the shots but won’t be surprised if pension is denied until I comply. Might soon be forced to “head red”. Somehow need a bolt of lightning to stampede the entranced herd in the other direction. I keep getting smidges of hope, yet the totalitarian beat goes on…

Expand full comment

I'm concerned about this, too. Retirement is about 18-30 months away for me, and I suspect strongly that - if this continues - those receiving Medicare will be required to take the jabs... and likely even to receive "your" Social Security checks...

Which raises the obvious point: if you have to FORCE people to do something, is it really good for them?

Expand full comment

I believe they will try what you suggest wrt SS checks, and yet, I've heard not a single word about requiring welfare recipients, the homeless, or illegal aliens to get jabs.

A Medicare and Social Security mandate will be a great way to eke a few more years out of the system.

With the info from the insurance industries and all cause mortality going up up up I think even your pension program will have to change it's mind on the jab if they were ethical. Ethical. Not a word one thinks of wrt investments in general, and pensions are usually funded with investments. So it is incumbant upon us to really know where our pensions are coming from, if we want one. I do not think I will be receiving much, or any, by the time I retire in 10 years. I live in small potatoes land financially, under 20k for the most part for the last 20 years. We like to think big financial institutions are better and more stable than small, that money managers are a good idea....but I am glad I have never lived in that world. My low budget life has served me well, and I am living well without such investments.

Nobody can rob us of our contentment and lack of fear, but nothing makes a tyrant madder than that, eh?)

I am amazed at how many people are not studying anti-Covid therapeutics. I can understand such passivity from people who believe The Narrative (they are hopeless) but I cannot understand it from skeptics. I have an overweight friend, skeptical but took the vaxx so that her children would let her see her grandchildren, come down with Covid. Her treatment consists of following her PCP, that is to say, staying home and taking cold medicine. I hope she does well.

I have read The Art of War. Even before that I was a firm believer in knowing what the enemy is up to. So, a couple times a week I hold my nose and go to a handfull of blue and MSM websites to see the latest panic porn and bullfeathers they are spouting.

Starting a little before xmas I noticed something new. Stories, never lead stories, and often buried stories about people who "did everything right" - "followed the science" etc and still (of course) got covid. Often these stories talk about how these people feel shame and as if they have somehow failed, which is ridiculous, but given the narrative unsurprizing. Their judgement and moral posturing are coming back to bite them. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of people! Today I noticed a small uptick in such stories.

Maybe this doesn't mean anything. But if people are writing about it I'm sure people are are talking about it, and word tends to get around. So maybe, just maybe, some of these people are starting to get it. If that's true it can only be a good thing.

I think, for many reasons, we are seeing "the beginning of the end." It's about time! Spring is coming.

Even after it's over though I plan NEVER to let any of these people forget what they have done and work as much as I can in my limited capacity to see that nothing like this EVER happens again.

Thanks for doing the reading that I can't stand. I hope you're right. The obvious--and easily foreseeable--failure of the vaxxes is hard to ignore, even by ignorant Dems, who believe that NPR and the NYT are objective, reliable news sources.

I think the political utility of the scam is near its end and that gives me some hope. But there's still the issue of mid-term elections and mail-in voting.

There needs to be mass scale non-compliance. And, as you say, an unwillingness to forget the Scam and its supporters. I've cut loose some friends--permanently.

Expand full comment

Well, in my view it's reading that has to be done. Listening to good music helps 😉.

I agree that the political utility is waning. Also, just this morning I read that consumption of news is down about 30% across the board, TV, internet, etc, and consumption of covid news has seen the biggest decline. I'll wager that the MSM is quietly looking for the next big story.

I also agree that there needs to be mass noncompliance. I think people just aren't angry enough.

Gets even better when they start to loosen the quarantine time while at the same time screaming that things r getting worse. The have made a prison for themselves and anyone who believes the false narratives they embellish.

Some folks of course want to have someone to tell them what to do, always have, always will. Stay strong, keep urself safe as u can using common sense even if it means wearing an n95 mask, respect those who don’t believe and above all remember ur born free. Stay that way.

Expand full comment

People who see through this are usually the people who just get on with their lives without making waves, i.e., independent and not the type to blame, but just finding a way to live their own lives. It's the other set that is all about pushback (and usually over nothing).

PM in Australia and our State premiers are saying and threatening similar to Trudeau in Canada: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently labelled the unvaccinated as anti-scientific “misogynistic and racist” extremists. He did so on a Quebec television station and even questioned whether or not the rest of Canada needs to “tolerate” the unvaccinated. What does this mean? That one day those who are unvaccinated won’t have access to any services, like social services or even be able to have a bank account? How hard do governments plan on making life for the unvaccinated

Hi, Eileen. I'm near Lausanne in Vaud and understand how you feel. I helped out a lot during the last two referendums and was really gutted when the bloody fools voted AGAIN to grant the evil buggers in Berne tyrannical emergency powers till 2032. I'm really not sure if the Swiss will ever wake up. I wonder if they will go the way of the UK/US (starting to dial down the madness) or the way of Austria and Germany (go full Nazi)? Humanity has frequently passed through moments of mass hysteria, and this is clearly one of them. History tells us that trying to fight them is like trying to turn back a tidal wave with a tennis racket (I've tried that!:). All we can do is refuse to comply, spread what truth we can and wait for the waters to recede. They will recede, and we will still be there.

Mass formation theorizes a 30/40/30 distribution of fearful believers, fearful followers, and those who have not allowed fear to numb and destroy critical thinking. How do we tell the difference between the 30% we can't reach and the 40% we can? I don't believe shunning is the answer, at least initially, and certainly not for those we love and respected. However we do need healthy boundaries with people who are a toxicity overload.

Take a stand and resist people. I live in a state that has had a worthless mask mandate in place almost since the beginning. I know the CMO of the state he is a card carrying member of the religious congregation of masks and vaccines. He will not even consider a dissenting opinion as I have given him many. I have not worn a mask in months. If somebody asks me to put on my mask, I ask them to take theirs off, what are you hiding? Most of all, do not run and get tested because you get sick. The treatment is the same regardless of the cause of your illness. Testing is their greatest tool to sow fear and divide us all!

A great summary of the illogical and arbitrary nature of mitigation strategies. Here in mostly-vaccinated WA, masking is still compulsory indoors and Gov Inslee shows no signs of letting up. Most of last year, I was the only unmasked person everywhere I went. I’ve started to see a few more here and there, but not enough to make a statement or see a shift in policy. Given that we have more cases than ever, Im not sure how our governor could ever make a consistent removal of the mandate without simply admitting that he’s wrong? I think that’s the hardest part for these petty tyrants - they’d have to concede that they are the dumb ones that followed junk “science” (aka politics) and implemented livelihood crushing policies based on lies. Rather than admitting it and cutting losses, they’re digging their heels in even further. I pray that God exposes all lies and corruption and removes these wicked people from power.

Well happy new year anyways ! I was at first into the panic too, but after a few months hearing the same story of Wuhan over and over again, it dawned on me we were drilled to believe something else than what was going on in reality. I hate masks and only wore one when I could not get into the store otherwise. I had to laugh though when it came to microbiology. A former friend is microbiologist, has always told me germs are everywhere, but NOT behind her mask LOL. And she was first in line to get the jab and scolded me for not trusting them. Then an article from the Atlantic described how bad the jabs can be, and if I needed more evidence they were no good, there it was. They also contain PEG which is a not so good shampoo ingredient, made from very poisonous parts, and at least half of the shampoos contain remnants of the poison. When I read how some batches of jabs were really deadly, I wondered if the remnants were in there too. The microbiologist proudly announced she got the booster.

Early on, even in the midst of much panic, I realized I wasn't feeling my fear but one that was being imposed on me. That's when I decided to fight my fear and soon I found out what was really going on. So if these realizations are possible even to people in deep fear, what on earth is preventing all the rest who are still afraid from seeing this?
