I certainly believed the news and the government proclamations when I was much younger. If the government or the news said something, I assumed it was correct. But I don't believe them anymore. I have lost faith in the honesty and integrity of our government, especially the federal government. I started losing my faith in the government well before the covid scam but the covid scam absolutely sealed the deal. I now believe almost nothing that the government says about anything. It all seems to be a deliberate manipulation. The government routinely withholds information from us, exaggerates other information and blatantly lies to us. But it's not just the government that I have lost faith in. Our biggest institutions including large businesses, the legacy news, the medical establishment, universities and virtually all 3-letter agencies of the Federal government all actively cooperate in scams for some of that $9T government payout. It's a very sad state of affairs. I will extend what you said a bit further by saying nearly any conspiracy—past, present or future—not only seem possible they seem likely.

You said exactly what I would have written. I can understand those in the 40 and under crowd who thought the Pandemic was real, because I was one of the people who wholeheartedly believed what they told us about 911 and the War on Terror when I was that age. It's just a time of life before one wises up by life experience for most people. Some people, like Mark, are blessed with a certain radar for BS.

I don’t want to assume all here have gone down the rabbit hole of 9/11. If you haven’t, here are some resources:

At 5 hours in length, this documentary asks more questions than it answers. It was my red pill moment on 9/11:

I’m now in the process of my red pill moment with Sandy Hook:

Oh. And one more. The moon landing:

Do I believe anything our government has ever told us or will ever tell us?

Not. A. Chance.

I had hoped you had a link to the German documentary I saw a year or 2 ago, where engineers came together and explained how 911 was not caused by the planes. Have not found it back, it was on YouTube. Only recently, because an estimated professor mentioned the fake moon landing, I started looking at it. I was a kid at the time and of course believed all that was on TV (like unfortunately most still do). I am not yet convinced one way or another, but rather go to the fake side now. Specially since I read in the Dutch files, that the so-called moon rocks they got were petrified wood. And that all the documents, films, calculations, Nasa had, are lost. Right.

Thankfully we now have computers and lots of people have documented on the covid scam. When it comes to viruses, I keep in the middle as well. I think some germ exists, prefer not to call it virus LOL, but that also your general health and the environment play crucial roles. I have fallen ill after close contact with sick people, but I also stayed healthy after visiting a family, all sick in bed. There goes - first time I probably either had never met that germ, and got sick, and then as a cleaning woman encountered all the germs in the world and did not get sick. To my knowledge I haven't had the covid yet - or it might have been the invisible one LOL

Thanks for these links--many thanks! esp. re Sandy Hook (and to think that I--purely from ignorance--used to think Alex Jones a kook!). Now hope to hear him with Tucker in Reading PA. Some years ago, a "Sandy Hook mother" came to our large suburban-Phila. school district, to address the whole district-wide faculty, with a very emotional Powerpoint and tear-dripping presentation. And I thought (not yet believing that SH was a sham--which conclusion I came to on my own, later)--so what are we supposed to do with all this emotion? Concluded that perhaps we teachers (so many of whom proudly consider selves "progressives") were being primed to be anti-2A? Ironic if so, as by 2018, my leftie asst. principal was broaching the idea of armed teachers.....Then came the school shooting where cops were told to "stand down" and it was a mother who had courage to run in and grab her kid. So--that to me was evidence of government choosing to sacrifice children for its own goal. And if that were so, then why might not Sandy Hook be another? And if that, why not the Twin Towers? It wasn't just New Yorkers who were terrified. I was in Heraklion (Crete) on 9/11. The store clerk had a TV on behind him--I could see images of the White House. In broken English the clerk advised us to go around the corner to a TV store, where goodness knows how many screens were displaying images of the attack. Back in Athens, a vendor who did not speak English was trying to express to me that he feared a world war (Crete had a USAF base officially closed in 1955, but I witnessed air force planes flying over the island 9/11 or 9/12--they must have come from some where)--all I caught was the word "polemos" which was vaguely familiar to me from when I could actually studied Greek--the word for "war". As in, polemic.

The ongoing covid scam has opened many eyes and ears that will no longer unquestioningly trust the government, media, politicians, or celebrity "influencers." That's probably the only good that's come out of the last 4 years.

In addition to the fallout you mentioned post 9/11, it also gave us the Dept. of Homeland Security, the TSA, and the Patriot Act.

I'm shocked by how so many people that saw COVID as a hyped up scamdemic didn't see the obvious weirdness around 911!

I suppose it's because back then, the mass media was the popular source.

Anyway, yeah 911 was odd... They were running drills of hijacked planes on the same day... The coincidence that it's the same day of the "worst terrorist event ever".

What's even crazier about that event was how firefighters spoke about hearing explosions from under ground levels before the buildings started to collapse.

Obviously, the official investigation didn't take note of this....

what I remember most was the constant repeating of the same old song, like they did with covid. On the wet market bla bla bla... that put up the first red flag for me. Then Alex Berenson mentioned how little people on that princess ship had died from the deadly virus, and I think it was him, too, who found out that someone went testing with cotton swabs, and how people died after it. And some other Stackers reported how the covid had broken out in Europe way earlier - like September, so the first Idea of the October military games being the spreader did not add up either (although lots of sick people after these military went back home)

Thank you, Mark, for connecting those dots, seeing the parallels between 9/11 and the pandemania. From the hour that it happened, skeptical people exclaimed that steel-framed buildings just do not collapse into their own footprint without a demolition job. Even journalists had not been clued in as, on national TV, they exclaimed, "And we just heard another explosion from inside the World Trade Center," and they interviewed passersby who had also heard and discussed explosions. The talking points memo had apparently not yet arrived.

To me, 9/11 was an obvious scam from the beginning, to false flag for Mideast war and mega bucks for Dick Cheney and his ilk.

I think that awareness plus Fauci's many failed media attempts over the decades to stoke fear for flu shot sales, made the COVID scam even more obvious from the beginning.

Thanks for posting another excellent essay, dear Mark.

One thing especially that struck me about the past few years, starting with the covid lockdowns, was how the incessant drumbeat of the "war on terrior" + let's-be-super-scared-of-islamo-fascists stories just kinda went... poof. (.. and remained on extra extra low volume in the shadows even after, oh yeah, even after Afghanistan fell to the Taliban... )

Do I wonder why? [insert here GIF of crocodile laughing]

PS I note that the life-sized brachiosaurus in the O'Hare airport is no longer wearing its blue mask.

“Laying claim to peril allowed many to self-identify as potential victims and thereby added desired drama to their lives and provided an excuse to ‘work from home’ or avoid contact with unpreferred others.

“Potential victim hood” is a brilliant insight and perfectly captures the resistance to facts I came across on Facebook during the early days of the scamdemic. “I’m immunocompromised” or “I have a family member who is immunocompromised” were incessantly thrown at me as excuse for why we should destroy society.

"Sometimes, the media lies outright. More often, they withhold the truth and refuse to ask obvious questions." More people need to recognize this and take in any headlines through this filter. I've had a couple of friends remark about how "millions" of people died from covid!!! I said: No - millions of people may have been labeled as covid deaths but that is not the same as saying they died from covid (e.g. Shot in the chest + positive covid test = covid death!). I used to also passively take in and accept news headlines and believe what everyone around me believed. I was, however, skeptical of the medical community pre-covid after going deep in the rabbit hole on diet & nutrition for many years. Since covid, I've started looking into several other rabbit holes (9/11, Moon landing, etc) and I'm now of the opinion - Don't trust, verify! It's always wise to follow the money, power, and influence to get after the truth (often easier said than done). Always ask: "Cui bono?"

7 WTC just fell down for no reason. That really didn't make sense to me at the time but as much as I didn't trust the government, I couldn't see how such a thing could be pulled off. Recently I watched a presentation by Dr. Judy Wood where she shows how the buildings turned to dust in midair and the steel is vaporized as it falls. Meanwhile people are seen walking around on debris that is obviously not hot enough to melt steel. She thinks some sort of directed energy weapon may have been used. I found her thesis compelling.

I worked on 9/11 Truth for nearly a decade in the Boston area. I, too, found Dr. Wood's ideas very compelling. With a PhD in Materials Science, I afforded Dr. Wood the respect that someone in that field should get -- unless she somehow showed herself undeserving of it. IMO, she never did.

Well. Her treatment -- at the hands of other people involved in 9/11 Truth -- defies belief. For positing an idea that something unknown to most might have been used that day to disintegrate the Towers and "cook" over 1,000 cars blocks away, people attacked, insulted, vilified, name-called as "controlled opposition" (WTF???), and more. It disgusted me.

I soured on the movement and gradually exited. For me, the point was more about the destruction of liberty and its protections (4th Amendment, in particular) vs. the who, how, what of the event. Interesting, sure, but pales in comparison to the destruction of life and liberty.

When the "COVID" op started bubbling, I knew exactly what it was -- and I knew exactly how the "American" people would conduct themselves. For "safety's sake."

P.S. After Sep 11 and the Nov 2001 crash of American Flight 587 on Long Island, my husband and I still got on a plane to spend that Thanksgiving with friends -- in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I had my nail clippers stolen by a uniformed fellow American at JFK...For "safety's sake."
