I have posted this elsewhere so forgive me for the repetition, but there was a great comedy film out in the Netherlands last summer where a new principle took over an elementary school and implemented a robot-controlled surveillance system. Everyone hated it, but no one knew how to fight it. So they ended up turning to a retired "flower power" teacher who taught everyone about non-violent civil disobedience and won the day. It was really beautiful and inspiring. How it managed to walk the fine line of public acceptance is a testament. It even won a public award, maybe thanks to an army of "wappies" voting, me included. Just brilliant.
