Excellent. The important thing to me is that, like the last election which Trump actually won (I live in southeast Michigan. I think Joe Biden won Antrim county last time...Trump country), this win was a total rebuke of EV mandates, vaccine mandates, command economy, top-down control, etc. To me this is a glimmer of hope.
I wonder if Biden was chosen because he would follow the rules of those that really lead the country - and they wanted to force the j abs on everyone. I don't think Trump would ever have done that. During these 4 years it is obvious Biden did not govern the country. It was known in 2012 that he started dementing (as per the psychiatrist of his son on Tucker show)
Absolutely. too few people seem to understand the true root reasons of Cornamania. Biden HAD to win because "whos gonna take the shots" if they were "made by" Orange Man Bad. There was no way for the coordinated global cabal to mandate shots , vax passes, concentration camps etc if the vaccine couldn't be trusted.
I agree but I'm pretty sure he would have been forced by media driven public pressure as happened with him not getting the US back open by Easter as he publicly stated he wanted.
I could never ever have imagined voting for Trump but the Dems totally lost me with with the jab mandates, experimental trans surgeries on children, open borders, Woke agendas and DEI forced on us, censorship galore, being the biggest spreaders of misinformation, etc. To work on Kamala’s campaign, one had to be fully vaxxed. Do these people even read anything that doesn’t support their financial gains? They don’t even try to hide their wicked ways. I voted for Trump last week because, not only do I now like him, but I like the people he has onboard with him so far. I have hope. Even the silly, viral Trump YMCA dance videos make me happy and give me hope. It won’t be perfect but I want so much for him to succeed in changing the trajectory our country is on, beginning with some serious accountability for what’s been done to us.
He tapped into something Reagan did. A positive vision. Savoring a Big Mac and the primary critcism is through the reader's dietary lens. Dorky dance, but he's happy! It's not fake-o joy with Oprah. I've seen a number of remix videos with 80's music and Top Gun scenes. It's not an accident. It's a welcome relief from the "smart nice people" (a la the Carter Administration) who have nothing beyond incompetence and self-deprecation.
How about normal? Boys are boys, girls are girls, criminals are bad, cops are good (as one senate candidate said). People say what they think even if they use words you don't like. It's not the government's job to make everyone think the same things. The media does not get to tell people they are too stupid to read something. Hating white people is... gasp... racism, and most different people in the US get along outside of Blue areas.
Even if you're independently-minded, living in a Blue area is like subtle lead or carbon monoxide poisoning, you don't realize how warping and unhealthy it is. It's not just profit/gain, these people are very bubbled.
So true, Demeisen. I live in a blue state and not only are the people around me in a bubble, they want to STAY there! I couldn't find anyone who would read any articles I showed them about what was happening during the plandemic. It was willful ignorance as they said things like, "We trust the CDC; we love Fauci; we believe the science, etc."
As for the Trump dance, I think I've been without hope for so long that now this glimmer makes me want to join in the dance too.
Another great write-up. It's a good thing that I can look up words in my browser b/c I had to do it several times. I'm increasing my vocabulary (if only I can remember the definitions). Your work is also filled with brilliant observations that I never thought about. I found this one especially interesting "During the campaign, Trump, Harris and the media pretended that the massive Corona overreaction never happened." It's true. Nobody even mentioned the corona overreaction. WTF!
Although Trump, Harris and the media never explicitly mentioned the scamdemic during the election lead up, RFK jr. did throw his support to Trump and Trump did indicate that he would include RFK jr in his administration. We all knew exactly where RFK jr. stood on covid and the safety/efficacy of vaccines. Let's hope that RFK jr gets confirmed to be head of HHS.
I'm cautiously optimistic about this next Trump term but we will see. I decided never to vote Dem again during the Covid mandates & hysteria. Doesn't mean Republicans own my vote but Dems are dead to me. I still work with some hypochondriacs that slather their hands in sanitizer every single time they sit at their desks.... sigh.....
I tend to disagree. While I don’t see the Trump administration as a ‘savior,’ I believe that ‘we the people’ have genuinely awakened—not in the ‘woke’ sense, but in reclaiming our own power. Figures like Musk and Vivek are forces of nature in this movement, and even something as unconventional as DOGE symbolizes how we can dismantle entrenched power in D.C. Together, this is the beginning of us saving ourselves from top-down control and ideological threats.
Agreed Charlie. Trump is no savior and I don’t see him that way either. Thanks for pointing that out. Of the choices with proven results, imperfections and all, Trump has demonstrated he is willing to learn from mistakes (for starters, I assume his germaphobia can no longer be manipulated). He can get important things accomplished, like his Supreme Court justice picks and the ensuing end of Roe v. Wade. I don’t want abortion (or suicide) approved by the government, or the medical establishment. People always have ”access“ to these things. Neither behavior is safe or effective. But a few people will choose these destructive behaviors anyway. It is sad and we pray it wasn’t so. And sometimes we have the opportunity to intervene. It will take determined citizens of each state to carry the ball the rest of the way that Trump got closest to the end zone. Each of us in every state will have to demonstrate our desire to build on life, not destroy with death. Overall Trump has shown he is a builder who surrounds himself with those who also build things. Many of us who voted for him, this time, see a guy who can be used by God to fill in the Covid hole that was dug. And then some.
My concern is that people will think we are out of danger and go back to sleep. I recommend podcasts on Unlimited Hangouts and the Corbett Report to see what we are up against. Also the David Knight Show which can be found on Substack, Bitchute, Odysee and just about everywhere but YouTube.
It was an easy choice to vote Trump, especially once he was joined by Tulsi and RFKJr. Harris/Waltz represented a non-optional full on sprint off the edge of the cliff, while with Trump/Vance there is at least the chance of short-term survival. If they actually live long enough to get sworn in come January, and do 5% of what has been promised it will count as a huge win in my book.
I don’t have any illusions about a Savior cometh…..
I learned a lot from Joe Rogan and Shawn Ryan interviews with Trump and many of his now cabinet nominees. Apparently, a lot of voters did as well. It was refreshing to hear conversation for a few hours that was unscripted with no "gotcha" questions. MSM's conjecture presented as "news" is no longer relevant. And the fact the RFK Jr. will be brought into the fold in some capacity pretty much guarantees, in my mind, that there won't be a repeat of the vaccine baloney we had to endure for at least for the 4 upcoming years. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
Continue with the march towards eventual communism, or a much smaller, less powerful government.
Most people forget, or in some cases, never knew that the founders only vision for the federal government's purpose was to keep people from stealing from each other. Neighbors from neighbors, towns from towns, counties from counties, states from states, and countries from countries.
As evidenced by the barrage of declarations of "A threat to Democracy", we as citizens are ignorant of even what kind of government we have, so it's not surprising that we have abandoned our duty to keep government at bay and as small as possible, thereby allowing it to metastasize into the bloated behemoth that we now confront.
We have a hell of a yuge job ahead of us, and hopefully, with the Trump team in charge, we can make some headway. Our children, Grandchildren, and their children depend upon it.
The election hype is part of the intentional, punishing process:
The Federal Government was never supposed to be so involved in our (state) lives. The flags, lawn signs and campaigning polarize a population that often neglects social relationships, exercise, time in nature and eating well.
Thanks for another great perspective. Enjoy your free time, friends, family and nature.
💯 %. Moved to a more MAGA-friendly (at least not openly hostile & threatening) area. Zero yard signs! Reminiscent of when voting was considered “private”. The good ol’ days😎
Excellent piece, Mark. It is rather astonishing that coronamania never came up during the campaign season, but of course, both parties were complicit to varying degrees so they left it under the carpet. I do appreciate your consistent appeal to self-management versus reliance on a corrupt, wasteful, mendacious state apparatus. We are all better off if we invest in our own physical, mental, and spiritual health rather than relying on government to advise us.
Thankfully, we still have some degree of control over our lives. We could have stopped the Scamdemic at the outset if people weren't so gullible and compliant.
"And abortion-backing women seem unaware that abortion benefits men because it gives men full, consequence-free access to women’s bodies and thus, encourages men under 35 to avoid marriage."
Oh...great point! I'm picturing heads exploding from the Blue Hair Group if they ever had a chance to read that.
Many of these people are young and have largely been programmed by blue-haired teachers and pop culture. Worse if their parents allow them a moral and spiritual vaccuum to "let them learn how to think" (stupid phrase popularized by a backwards period in science education).
They really don't know any better. They have been sold this awful vision of being chained down by kids and marginally poor unless they retain the absolute ability to kill their pregnancies. The missing piece is a respect for their own womenhood, and the respect others should show it.
You see a nasty shift when these people start to lose any sexual currency they have. They have staked out a position as "used goods" with a reductive view of men, an oppositional personality, find it difficult to trust men, and then it gets worse when the emptiness sets in... they go full Harpy or angry cat lady. Think of Chelsea Handler. Men can go down a similar road though usually have longer to fix it given the reality of sexual biology.
My take-away from all of this is to emphasize supporting young women in our community in different choices, and emphasis intrinsic respect rather than the coastal careerist emphasis.
There is some anti COVID sentiment behind a significant part of the Trump vote... It falls under the rubric of government overreach. As for running hard against lockdowns , it's interesting to note DeSantis got very little traction, so also others in 2022. It's possible that desire to bury it is less, but probably the hunger to explore it is limited to a smaller group. We kind of needa truth and reconciliation type approach. That aside, the Republicans were smart to mention it in passing, like firearms rights, to reassure those who care, and move on to big hot topics like immigration, economy, and geopolitical war risk.
Good article, well reasoned, perhaps a little to short on credit for President Trump, what he accomplished in his first four years in spite of the horrendous degree of persecution from virtually all the swamp establishment creatures, and the nature of his truly historical political return with a unique, incredibly talented team well suited to dismantling and rebuilding the sick system. See today’s Substack by “bad cattitude” “dear washington DC, you have no idea what’s coming” for a different, perhaps more uplifting, take on what is happening.
Excellent. The important thing to me is that, like the last election which Trump actually won (I live in southeast Michigan. Trump was, I think likely, tricked into supporting the mRNA work and thinking it was his. Doubt he would have forced it.

Yes, the blue sheep followed "the Science."
So ignorant.

It was a simple choice.
Continue with the march towards eventual communism, or a much smaller, less powerful government.

Thanks for not letting up on what should be the most important topic of the next 20 years: COVID and the debacle of “response”.
YW, Rick. I can't stop myself. It's been the dumbest thing ever.

Those who know me are aware of my deep trust in my Traditional Roman Catholic faith.
But it wasn't always so. I went through a period in my 40's when I left the faith and reveled in my hedonism. I am deeply and truly ashamed of this.
But I discovered then - to my great surprise - how extremely easy it was to bed attractive women.
The ease of contraception and abortion greased my immoral skids. Again, I am ashamed.
Lord Jesus, Creator of the Universe, forgive me my sins. Mea culpa.
They hear and repeat what they're told. Don't think of consequences.
As ever, a thorough and, for me, a calming review! Thank you!

That was a very hopeful article!
This needs to be restacked and read by all.
